Recipes without wifi: working offline in the kitchen

Kitchens are bad for wifi: steel, cold rooms, basements. And just when you need a recipe, nothing loads.

Install Savour as an app

You do not need an app store. Open savour.page and add it to your home screen: on iPhone via Share → Add to Home Screen, on Android via the menu → Install app, on a computer via the icon in the address bar.

Open it online once

Log in once with internet, with “Stay signed in” ticked, and open your recipes. Savour then keeps your library on the device.

Without a connection

If the wifi drops, open Savour from the icon on your home screen. You see your last saved recipes, with a notice that you are offline. Looking things up and cooking simply carry on.

What does not work offline

Editing and importing need a connection, so everyone in the team keeps the same version. As soon as the connection is back, Savour reloads by itself.

Shared kitchen computers

On a computer several people use, leave “Stay signed in” unticked. Savour then deliberately keeps nothing on the device and you are signed out as soon as the window closes.

Working offline is included in every Savour account, free and with Pro.

Your recipes deserve a better place than a drawer.
