1. What data
Using Savour may involve processing account data, profile data, recipes, folders, favourites and data about shared collaboration, among other things.
2. What data is used for
Data is used to make your account work, to store and display recipes, to provide folder and sharing features and to support the security and operation of Savour.
3. Recipes and shared folders
Your personal recipes are meant for your account. When you share a recipe or folder, other participants can see the content according to the permissions and settings of that shared feature.
4. Automated processing
When you use import or AI features, the content you provide may be processed to turn it into structured recipe data. Check the results before use.
5. Retention and deletion
You can delete your account and available personal data via the account functions. Retention periods may depend on legal obligations and technical necessity.
6. Your rights
Depending on the applicable privacy law, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability.
7. Who is responsible
Savour is a Dutch company and is responsible for processing your data. Send questions about privacy or requests to access, correct or delete your data to contact@savour.page. Savour uses the following processors: Supabase (database and login), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI import, Savour Pro only), Resend (email) and Google (advertising). Agreements have been made with these parties to protect your data; some also process data outside the European Union, on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
8. Payments and AI
Payments for Savour Pro are processed by Stripe. Savour does not store payment details such as card numbers, only the status of your subscription. With AI import, the sources you provide are processed via OpenAI to turn them into recipe data.
9. Cookies, local storage and advertising
Savour uses functional storage in your browser to make the service work, for example to keep you logged in and remember your language and display (light or dark). We also count visits to the website anonymously, with a random code in your browser, so we can see how often Savour is used. No consent is required for this.
Ads from Google AdSense may be shown on Savour’s public pages. Google and its partners use cookies for this, among other things to show ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland first see a message in which they can give or refuse consent; without consent, only non-personalised ads are shown. You can always change your choice via the privacy settings at the bottom of the page or turn off personalised ads via Google Ad Settings. Read more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
10. Changes
When Savour changes, we update this privacy policy. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. We will let you know about important changes.
